Review by M. Wills for Ameriwood Universal TV Stand Rating: The stand is a good value for the money. However, the front piece was incredibly difficult to install. It took 4 different people, 2 of them professional handymen, before 1 of them could do it. 2 of us put it together in about an hour and a half. So, if you're not technically inclined, this may not be the best choice for you. I like the way it looks though the shelves are so deep you have to pack the dvd's really tightly to make them stand up.

It does appear in your home exactly as the photos here once you assemble it. Which is very fine. However, you'll find as you near the final steps and likely need to turn the thing over to finish a few things that the whole build is VERY flimsy. I'll be honestly surprised if this thing lasts a move to another home, it really doesn't appear as if it will last just being moved to another room. No matter how tightly you put it together it's still going to wobble. I'm not so upset considering how cheap it is, however if I had actually seen it wobble in person I would have passed on it completely, you're definitely getting what you pay for.

All the parts and pieces were there and it went together in less than an hour although it goes better if there are two to help. I cant recommend this highly enough.

Review by Sina for 50" Flat Panel HDtv Stand Rating: After looking for a good TV stand for 2 whole months, we decided to get this one. I'm glad we chose it. The quality is fantastic, especially when compared to a lot of the other stands on the market. It looks magnificent. The wood is a dark cherry color, and the glass is black and opaque. The top glass (where the TV sits) is about 42" long, so I personally wouldn't put more than a 46" TV on it.

Overall, the construction was very easy and took about an hour. However, I would recommend you to assemble it where you want it to be because it's pretty heavy once completely built.

It is also very functional in it's design for my family room space and Sherwood home theater system that is hooked to my 47" LCD. The only other piece I have on the furniture is the cable box. I just wish it were more attractive. You can't go wrong with this choice.

Well considering the price and it’s origin in China I was pleased.

Parts fit together quite easily, and it seems sturdy.

It was packaged well and survived it’s travels undamaged.

The only real surprise is the color of the glass, looking at the pictures I expected clear or perhaps frosted but what I got was a DARK black smoked color but it looks nice.

The finish had some runs but on the back side of parts where it won’t be visible.

The unit assembled in a leisurely hour with only two screw drivers and the included allen wrench.

All in all I’m happy with the unit and more importantly so is my wife
