We purchased the 4-in-1 system last year and loved it, but then one day the CD player stopped working. My husband, who knows how to repair electronics, took it apart and found a major short in the wiring connecting the CD player. We debated whether to get a soldering iron and fix it ourselves, when we saw a 5-in-1 (same as the 4-in-1 but with MP3 connection) advertised on sale on Black Friday. We purchased the 5-in-1, and right out of the box it failed to work (was already shorted out), so we had to return it. At the store, they asked if we wanted to exchange it for another, and we said “NO”. I had previously purchased another one to give as a gift, and I am taking that one back, too, because I don’t want to present someone with a potentially defective product.

I bought this at Target and it looked beautiful when I set it up. Sadly, the turntable never worked and I brought it back. Sure, it could have been poorly handled between manufacture and getting to the shelf at the store but that was a clear indication it was cheaply made. I didn’t want it fixed or exchanged…I’m sure it wouldn’t last.
